How You Can Help

CURRENT NEEDS:

• air conditioning for the zera house and our staff houses

  • Total cost: $13,000

  • The Zera House has been completely refurbished from top to bottom, including installing new heating and air systems! This is a major quality-of-life improvement and will make the house comfortable for residents.

  • Now that our Zera House is complete, we are prioritizing our staff houses. Both houses are in desperate need of proper heating and cooling. We are currently trying to establish funding and resources to install mini-splits in these homes.

• new windows for staff house

  • Total cost: $5,000

  • As with the Zera House, our staff houses retain a lot of their original furnishings and features. Currently, the windows aren’t weather-tight, and replacing them will help our staff be completely able to relax on their days off!

• operating costs

  • Total cost: $175,000

  • Our program is free of cost to all residents and supported entirely by private donors. To continue operating, we need long-term financial partnerships. Every little bit helps!

• security house

  • Total cost $15,000

  • We are building a ‘tiny house’ neighboring our Zera House with the intention of providing additional security for our residents.
